Annual Sidewalk Sale
Annual Sidewalk Sale & Craft Show! From 9 am to 3 pm on Main Street (Route 93) in the Village of Akron.
We have over 60 crafters, Merchants, and vendors, live DJs AND a live musical act, GREAT food deals, activities for the kids, and a HUGE basket raffle! This event will be one of the largest Sidewalk Sales to date.

Join our merchants as they unveil their holiday finery with your gift giving in mind. Choose from a fantastic selection of specials and savings, as every shop prepares for the yuletide season. Make sure you visit our local Café’s to enjoy some amazing foods!

The Akron Chamber of Commerce is selling tickets for our November Madness Fundraiser!! A drawing to win a prize each day in November from one of our local businesses! Tickets can be purchased online (link below) or purchase one (or more ) from our Local Main Street Businesses for only $10!!

How to play:
For every day in November, that’s 30 days, a winner will be drawn to win the prize of the day from local area Chamber Members and Businesses. Calendar Cost is $10 per entry, first drawing held on November 1st. Once a number wins, that number will not be used again.
Every day a name is drawn, and winner announced via our Facebook Page, prizes can then be picked up at that business location (information will be posted on that days Facebook Announcement).

Super Cruise - CANCELLED
To our fellow community members,
Following a very busy and successful 2024 Sidewalk Sale and Cruise Night Season, along with many other advancements our Chamber has made this year, it is with sadness yet positivity that we announce there will not be a “Super Cruise” held in September like in years past. This event, although fun is very costly, time and volunteer intensive and our board has agreed to focus our growing and passionate energy on some other exciting ventures that will be great for our community and local businesses. We are currently concentrating on Light up Akron which is the Christmas Tree Lighting, ACS Santa Band Concert, Light up Parade, and Merchant Moonlight Shopping event, which is one of our largest and most attended events each year. This will be Saturday, December 14th so mark your calendars now! Rather than moving forward with a Super Cruise in the future, we will be redirecting our energy towards bringing back a large and organized Fall Fest for late September of 2025, so we look forward to that as well! Thank you to everyone who was involved with Cruise Nights this year, and everyone who joined us on Thursday nights for one of the best seasons in many years. See you on Main Street in the Village of Akron!”
